Rickard W. Hood

Mr. Hood graduated with honors at the University of Arkansas in 1978 with an accounting degree and he obtained his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Arkansas in 1981. He was a member of the Arkansas Law Review. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Arkansas and the Federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Areas of practice include: Contracts, Business Acquisitions, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Property Acquisitions, and Commercial Transactions.

Burton E. Stacy, Jr.

Mr. Stacy graduated from Missouri State University in 1990 with a finance degree and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1992 with a Master’s in Business Administration. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in 1994. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and the Federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma and the Western District of Missouri. Mr. Stacy is a board member of the National Creditors Bar Association, co-chair of the government affairs committee, the National List of Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute and American Lawyers Quarterly.   Mr. Stacy is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Areas of practice include: Collection, Foreclosure, Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy.

Curtis D. Clements

Mr. Clements graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Nazarene University with a multi-disciplinary degree in business, political science and psychology in 1989. He obtained his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Arkansas in 1992. Mr. Clements was a member of the Arkansas Law Review and mock trial competition team. He is licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas and the Federal courts for the Eastern and Western districts of Arkansas.

Areas of practice include: Domestic Relations (divorce, child custody), Estate Planning (wills, trusts), Litigation, Corporate and Juvenile.

Charlotte McCrary Stacy

Mrs. Stacy graduated from Rhodes College in 1989 with a philosophy degree and she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1995. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Arkansas and Oklahoma and the Federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Areas of practice include: Collections, Foreclosure and Domestic Relations.

Nicholas R. Hood

Mr. Hood graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri Valley College in 2008 with a dual-degree in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He obtained his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2011, where he was a member of the honors program and served on the governing board of the Moot Court Society. Mr. Hood was also a publishing note-writer for the Valparaiso University Law Review (No Requirement Left Behind: The Inadvertent Discovery Requirement—Protecting Citizens One File at a Time, 45 Val. U. L. Rev. 1529 (2011)) and was honored as Valpo Law’s Best Oralist during the 2009 Annual Swygert Moot Court Competition for his skills in written and oral advocacy. Mr. Hood is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

J. Brock Rowatt

Mr. Rowatt graduated from William Jewell College in 1991 with a degree in English; and he obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in 1994.  Mr. Rowatt joined Hood & Stacy P.A. after 15 years of practice with collection law firms in Kansas and Missouri.  He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.  While in law school Mr. Rowatt served on the UMKC Law Review and authored a published article regarding, The Public Policy Exception to Employment at Will, 62 UMKC L. Rev. 325, Winter 1993.

Areas of practice include:  Consumer and Commercial Collection Law.

Jonathan B. Krems

Mr. Krems graduated from George Mason University in 2002 with a degree in Government & International Politics and minors in Legal Studies and Public Policy.  He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2006, where he earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Mergers & Acquisitions, and was founding member and first Secretary of the Corporate Law Association.  Mr. Krems is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma.

Areas of practice include;  Collections, Foreclosure and Creditor’s Rights law.

Jael K Lewis

Mrs. Lewis graduated from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia with a degree in International Relations and is a 2015 graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, in Fayetteville, AR.  She was actively involved in the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and Women’s Law Student Association. Mrs. Lewis is licensed to practice law in Arkansas.
